Restaurants

The lane below the lodge holds a dozen family kitchens, and our own Gable Table serves the valley on a plate — lake fish, orchard fruit, bread from the wood oven next door.

  • The Gable Table — dinner Tue–Sun, garden terrace
  • Lane bakeries, wine bars and late coffee houses
  • We book every table and drive you home late

See & Feel

Art & Culture

Ten minutes on foot stands the Old Mill Gallery — sculpture in the courtyard, painting upstairs, and summer concerts in the stone chapel beside it. Reception keeps the week's openings pinned by the door.

  • Old Mill Gallery — free entry, open daily
  • Guided sculpture walks every Saturday
  • Chapel concerts through July and August

Trails & Lookouts

Waymarked trails leave from our gate — twenty minutes to the chapel lookout, half a day to the high pastures. Borrow our packs and poles, take a packed lunch, and be back for a swim.

  • Chapel lookout loop — 40 minutes, easy
  • Juniper ridge trail — 3 hours, moderate
  • Guided sunrise walks each Sunday
